Solotel wanted to promote venue hiring and bring all venues under one site. This was an interim venue booking site.
After producing the initial wireframes, we embarked on several design iterations. We recognised that the header was occupying an excessive amount of space, while users primarily desired quick access to the venue list. Consequently, we made the decision to condense the header and reposition the content higher on the page to better align with user preferences.
Creating an adaptable venue template was essential due to the varied hiring options offered by over 20 Solotel venues, each with its unique features.
After the launch of the interim site, we embarked on a quest to improve the venue hiring experience. We run a design sprint to identify new opportunities and ideate on creative solutions.
I mapped out the new flow based on the workshop ideas. The new journey included a quiz to help users to find a right venue, live room/venue availability, opportunity to customise packages and make bookings directly.
I mocked up a new venue page wireframe documenting the ideas from the workshop.
