I worked together with an online yoga start up who's aim was to bring wellness and teaching communities together during COVID. They wanted to empower teachers to connect with their following, help them to create content and get fairly paid for their efforts.
I designed a landing page template for yoga, pilates, fitness and meditation.
Before moving forward with the designs, I would create wireframes to structure the content for swift development.
My aim was to clearly and transparently demonstrate the payment structure and how teachers would earn for their content.
I demonstrated how the layout would change depending on the screen size. Navigation items would also change depending on the user e.g. if they were logged in, and if they were a teacher.
On teacher profile page students had the ability to explore and filter through content. Recognizing that educators often curate content across various categories, the integration of an intuitive filtering system was essential.
Conceptualised dashboard design for teachers to upload videos, schedule classes, have insights on their audience and track class performance.
I created examples of the 'home' page in multiple screen sizes to showcase how the content and navigation would adapt. For instance, the collapsible left-hand side menu would transform into a bottom navigation on mobile devices, offering a more familiar navigation experience.
I created a calendar view to help teacher to stay on top of their published, expiring and live class listings.
A simple, step-by-step form to fill in class details. Once published, teachers were able to monitor the class performance and manage the listing details.
Teachers were able to monitor class views on a weekly, monthly, or specific date range basis. The design below illustrates how the graph would dynamically adjust according to the selected date range.
Visualised concept of the overall performance to learn more about the audience and have insights to best performing video types.
Starting point to outline the hierarchy and arrangement of key elements.
